The KTM 890: The Backbone of the Fleet
Six of our ten motorcycles are KTM 890s, and there is a reason they make up the majority of the fleet. The 890 delivers strong, usable torque, a chassis that stays composed on rough tracks and enough comfort to make long tarmac stretches easy on the body.
It is the bike most riders end up on for our mixed-terrain routes, built to shrug off a rocky mountain pass in the morning and still feel settled cruising a coastal road in the afternoon. If a tour asks for one motorcycle that can do everything well, this is it.
The KTM 390: Light, Agile and Playful
Two KTM 390s round out the lighter end of the fleet. Where the 890 is about capability, the 390 is about agility. Its lower weight makes it easier to place on tighter gravel tracks and quicker to change direction through switchbacks.
Riders who prefer a bike that feels playful rather than heavy tend to gravitate towards the 390, especially on routes with more technical sections or a higher share of twisty tarmac.
The CFMOTO 450MT: The Dark Horse of the Garage
Completing the fleet are two CFMOTO 450MT. As the newest bikes in the garage, they bring a fresh blend of everyday comfort and genuine off-road manners, making them a strong option for riders who are building confidence on mixed surfaces.
They punch above what their badge might suggest, and they have quickly found their place on our tours as a dependable, well-rounded choice.
How We Maintain and Match the Fleet
Every motorcycle in our fleet is prepped and checked before it goes out on tour, whether the route runs along the sweeping asphalt of the Algarve coast or the dust and rock tracks of the Andalusian interior. Matching the right bike to the right rider and the right terrain is part of how we plan every tour from Almuñécar and Tavira.
Whichever of the three you end up on, the goal is the same: a motorcycle you trust completely, so all you have to think about is the road, or the lack of one, ahead of you.
