9:00 — Briefing
Start your adventure with a comprehensive orientation at our base in Almuñécar. The guide will present the route, conditions and equipment. The bikes are adjusted and communication equipment is provided for the group.
10:00 — Departure from Almuñécar
We depart from the Almuñécar coast heading east. Very soon you will be savouring spectacular views of the Mediterranean as we ride along scenic roads carved into the cliffs. We start with a climb towards the Sierra Tejeda Natural Park, which rewards us with fantastic combined views of snow-capped mountains (in winter/spring) and the shimmering sea - a unique postcard of Andalusia.
14:00 — Traditional lunch in Granada
We ascend inland for an authentic Andalusian lunch at the Hotel Restaurante El Guerra, in the heart of the Granadian mountains. Here we will enjoy local dishes (such as garlic kid or migas) with fresh ingredients from the area. The restaurant offers beautiful views of the valley while we eat.
15:30 — Return route via the other side of the mountain
We embark on the return journey, descending the opposite slope of the sierra. We wind through lush hills dotted with exotic tropical fruit plantations (mangoes, cherimoyas) that thrive thanks to the local microclimate. We will make several stops for panoramic photos of the tropical coast from secret viewpoints that only our guides know.
17:00 — Return to Almuñécar
Your adventure concludes by returning to the starting point in Almuñécar just as the afternoon sun bathes the Mediterranean in golden light. On the beach in Almuñécar we will gather for a brief farewell, toasting with refreshments (or a cold local beer!) while sharing impressions of the day.
This is one day of real riding through the south of Spain. From the coastline near Almuñécar, we head inland. The terrain opens up quickly: ridgelines, riverbeds, remote farmland. One moment you’re leaning into smooth tarmac bends, the next you're climbing loose gravel tracks with desert wind in your helmet.
In one day we take you through the best riding terrain Granada has to offer: varied, challenging, and made for people who like to keep moving.

Optional: action camera and hydration pack
