We start our adventure from the Mediterranean coast, climbing into the stunning Sierra Nevada. The route mixes twisty scenic roads with flowing gravel sections, taking us through pine forests, mountain viewpoints, and remote Andalusian landscapes. It’s the perfect warm-up day to get comfortable on the bike and enjoy incredible views from higher altitudes.

Today the scenery shifts dramatically. We ride through high mountain passes before descending into the surreal Gorafe Desert — a land of badlands, dry riverbeds, and wide open plateaus. The contrast between mountain terrain and arid landscapes is breathtaking. We’ll explore unique tracks and enjoy the sense of isolation that defines this area.

The day begins with a scenic ride through varied terrain as we make our way up to Calar Alto (2,168 m). This stretch combines beautiful mountain scenery with pine forests, fun ascents, and thrilling descents that reward you with panoramic views in every direction. After conquering the summit, we continue towards Europe’s only true desert — Tabernas. Surrounded by cinematic landscapes, we follow flowing trails and backroads through this unique environment before reaching the coast.

180 Km · 7 h

The final stage takes us on a spectacular ride through Las Alpujarras and the foothills of Sierra Nevada. This area offers a perfect mix of twisty mountain roads, scenic gravel sections, and traditional white villages scattered along the slopes. The changing scenery — from arid lowlands to lush mountain views — makes for a memorable closing stage before descending back to the Mediterranean coast and finishing the Two Deserts adventure.
