Morocco is the adventure motorcyclist’s dream destination, an hour’s ferry from Europe. In a single trip you cross the Atlas Mountains at 2,200 metres, ride through medieval medinas, camp at the edge of the Sahara, and finish on Atlantic beaches. Our guided KTM motorcycle tours turn what looks like a complex international trip into a fully organised adventure — we handle the ferry from Spain, all border paperwork, accommodation, and we know the roads and tracks that make the difference between a good Morocco trip and a legendary one.

Our motorcycle tours in Morocco
All Morocco tours start from our base in Almuñécar (southern Spain) or directly from Málaga airport, cross by ferry to Tangier or Ceuta, and return the same way.

- TransMorocco Adventure Tour — our flagship. 12 days and 2,809 km across deserts, mountains and cities. For riders who want the complete experience.

Atlas and shorter formats

Northern Morocco
- From Spain to Northern Morocco — 8 Days — spectacular northern coast, Rif Mountains and blue-painted Chefchaouen.
Why book a Morocco motorcycle tour with a Spain-based operator
This is the most common question we get from international riders considering Morocco. Three reasons why starting from Spain works better than booking with a Moroccan local operator:
- Ferry and paperwork handled end-to-end. No surprises at the border, no figuring out the Temporary Import Permit on your own. We cross with you, with documents ready.
- You start in a European country. Easier flights, simpler logistics, no jet lag if you’re flying from Europe. Pick up the bike in Spain, ride straight onto the ferry the next morning.
- Premium accommodation continuity. Our Morocco accommodations — riads in Fes and Marrakech, desert camps, mountain lodges — are at the same level as our European tours. The infrastructure is consistent throughout the trip.

When to ride in Morocco
Morocco has a more demanding climate calendar than Europe. Our best windows are October–November and February–April — stable weather, 15-25 °C, the desert is manageable. Avoid June to August: Sahara temperatures routinely exceed 45 °C, even mountains are punishing. Winter (December–January) is rideable in the south but Atlas passes can close with snow. We don’t run tours during Ramadan out of respect for local rhythms.
Who these tours are for
Morocco is not a beginner’s destination for guided motorcycle touring. Roads are variable, city traffic is chaotic, and the desert sections require off-road skills. We recommend:
- Intermediate riders with previous adventure touring experience for Northern Morocco or the Atlas 5-day tour.
- Advanced riders with off-road experience for TransMorocco and the African Sahara Adventure.
- Beginners: build experience with a Spain or Portugal tour first, then come back for Morocco. We’ll tell you honestly if you’re ready.
